Book Introduction:  In the first section of the first chapter of this book, the author follows the writing habits of traditional characters and creates a calligraphy scroll of 660 simplified characters; in the second section, the author creates a font library calligraphy scroll of 3,300 characters according to the writing habits of simplified characters. The author appreciates along the order of the simplified characters and the works not only show the characters, but also show the connection between the characters. The words in the font library are left and right and can be freely combined into sentences.
In the first section of the second chapter, the author uses pencils and creates freehand calligraphy works, showing 65 freehand calligraphy styles; in the second section, the works show 64 freehand calligraphy styles in sixty calligraphy scrolls. Freehand calligraphy works are rich in expressiveness, and the lines, characters and words of the works express the vast world.

Liu Bin, from Baiyin City, Gansu Province, China, graduated from Kunming University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in fine arts from the School of Art, Peking University. He is a calligrapher, traditional Chinese painter, and calligraphy and painting theorist with his studio named "Xinglinzhai" (Xinglin Room). He is also a metal material processing engineer, registered consulting engineer, registered supervision engineer, and doctor of traditional Chinese medicine. He authored monographs on calligraphy and published many papers on the art of calligraphy.
